Fall production is finished. Time to kick up the feet and take a breather. Spring begins on Monday.

Although last game’s four goal performance was outstanding, today’s loss to Goliath was perhaps Brit’s best. After battling their gold opponent to a 0-0 tie in regulation, Brit’s team lost in PKs.
Always Writing

Time is not always my friend, but I still manage to write. Although I would rather have a regimented writing schedule, I do find my writing to be more proficient when I can steal a couple of hours.

In addition to producing our clients’ clothing lines, Sonia and I have decided to design and produce a few pieces to test the waters. This Missoni print dress and skirt is Sonia’s first design.

More time spent at places like this means less time living la vida loca. Last year I completed 80% of the list. This year I’ll be lucky to hit 60%. With that said, here are the things that will definitely go down as an incomplete.
- (8) Host a summer party. Summer past us by in a blur of textiles.
- (29) Take Devin to a Giants game. It would have been epic, but game six never happened and the opportunity passed us by.
- (35) See a game at Petco park.
- (40) Catch a game at Wrigley Field. Missed a summer trip to Chicago for the first time in many years.
That leaves 43 possible goals left to complete in less than two months. If we can knock off 29 of them we would claim a 75% success rate.

Brit scored four goals including this header to lead her team to a 5-0 victory. With this win, the Sherman Oaks Extreme finish the season in second place with a 7-1-3 record and will at the very least be a silver elite team next season.

We were invited to our first fashion show in Beverly Hills. Justin Timberlake’s William Rast line was probably the biggest draw.

October Recap.
Although I knocked nothing off of the list in October, I got something that I had been waiting for since I was about eight years old… A World Series Championship. It was 1981 when I first became a Giants fan. It was probably only my second or third baseball game ever at Chavez Ravine when the decision was made. Brimming with excitement, I was watching the Dodgers take batting practice and cheering for home runs when my dad leaned over and explained that we were Giants fans. From that point forward, Dodgers were booed and Giants became my heroes. Needless to say, it was a pretty good October.

Not sure why, but I did. California is the Titanic, but I hated no candidate more than the other to send down with the ship.

Giants win game four. Up 3-1, they are one win away from being World Champs for the first time since 1954. The question is, if you had tickets for game six, do you root for them to win game five?

Brit’s team played the first two games of league cup and finished with a win and a tie against two very good teams. Hopefully it was enough to advance as a wildcard to the next round.

Sonia and I took a 7am flight to San Francisco despite the predictions of a rain out. Not only did it not rain, but it was one of the warmer Giants games I’ve been to. Mom and Jim joined us to see the Giants roll the Rangers 9-0. This may actually be the year.

Saw this in the theaters. Laughed quite a bit, but almost vomited three times which prevents me from recommending.

Brit’s team tied the first place team 2-2 in what was the most intense game of the season. Brit scored one and helped her team keep its hold on 2nd place.

Only on Rodeo Drive would you see a two million dollar car parked curbside.

It couldn’t have been a better trip. Perfect San Fran weather, good food, and two huge wins by the Giants. I even got to see my favorite Giants of my youth throw out the first pitch.

Brit scored one and helped her team get a much needed win. They play the first place team next Sunday.

We continue to discover new gems in downtown L.A. Today we checked out the Little Tokyo market which was anything but little. The seafood selection was insane.

Had to check on a dress at one of the factories. I guess Saturday will be spent downtown until the Giants game starts.

Netflixed A Single Man. Directed by fashion designer, Tom Ford. I think I’ve found a new way into the business.

Brit’s team tied the last place team 2-2 to all but assure a second place finish.

Had dinner with a client at Cafe Was in Hollywood. The mid meal burlesque show was top notch.

Saw The Social Network. It took the writer of A Few Good Men and the West Wing and the director of Fight Club and Se7en to make a movie like this happen. Although this was nothing more than a filmed stage play I actually enjoyed it.

September Recap
September was much like our reception area of our new office… A bit empty. Sure we accomplished plenty in the work and eating life, but as far as making a dent in the list we scored a big fat goose egg. Last September we were strolling the streets of Saint Germaine in Paris, so the Giants better win to make things a little more interesting.
