Grandpa made the trip to Vegas to watch Brittany’s first game of the season. Brit played 40 minutes and helped set up the first goal in the 3-0 win.

This is the final schedule for Brit’s season that begins this Friday in Vegas of all places. After losing by a goal in penalty kicks in the finals of the Big West Tournament last year, the Highlanders were once again picked for last place.  Brittany intends to play a bigger role this season and she loves to be the underdog.

The hard to get reservation was worth the wait. If Vegas had odds on me being over or under 180lbs by Halloween, I’d bet the over.

Only two Illinois based Portillo’s hot dog joints are in California, but Riverside is home to one of them. Brit had an Italian Beef and a bowl of chili before returning to her second practice of the day in triple digit heat.

I don’t think it is the American classic it is being hailed as by most critics, but Boyhood was a good movie despite lacking a plot.
