The fight begins today. CT scan results were normal, so good news there. We won’t know the grade of the tumor until after his surgery, so the game plan is a little up in the air. Surgery is January 9th.

A tough day after learning the lump is indeed cancer. Hemingway has a mast cell tumor and being that it is the holidays, an appointment with the recommended oncologist won’t happen for a couple of weeks. The number one goal for 2017 writes itself.

I found a growth on Hemingway’s leg and let him know last night we had to go to the vet. Both dogs understood what that meant. Hemingway was scared to death. Brittany filmed Rio after we left. I’ve never heard her howl like this.

Although we continue to implement new strategies, profits have declined for the fourth year in a row. We still have a couple of moves before we throw in the towel, but Basically Me and production is on a short leash.

Georgeanne’s plate remained unused as the flu kept her in bed for most of the day and night. But with Dad and Rosie’s help, she prepared a perfect feast.
