Took advantage of a day stuck in the jury duty pool to finish this book. An incredibly fascinating history of my favorite American city.  With that said, no matter what I said, they still picked me to serve a domestic violence trial. Fun times ahead.

#2: Grow LA Fashion Insider

LAFI profits are up a whopping 1%. Although it’s not enough to wipe out 50% of our business debt (#18), it is the first time being up since 2012, so we’ll take it.

Hard to associate the last week with good luck, but my Dad had a stroke at the right time in the right place. Timing is everything. The future remains bright.

A great follow up to Homo Sapiens.

An Extrodinary restoration.

Dad is down half a lung, but the funny bone remains intact.  Future is bright.

Not even three months later. Hate LA drivers.

#28. Complete 2017 Cuba album

Kept up Devin’s Bday tradition with bowling and a sketchy warehouse party underneath a freeway overpass in downtown LA.

Much better than his last book.

Our fridge is always empty except when it’s time to make dog food.

Saw this with Dad and Georgeanne. I probably enjoyed this one the most among us.

#27: Make the perfect sausage

Perfect is arbitrary, but knocked this out for Sunday breakfast.

The book was so much better.

Hung out at Union Station on Saturday. Wasn’t disappointed.

#74. Write a novel synopsis

In addition to a synopsis, I have notes for more than half of the scenes. I’d like to start writing it next year, but I don’t have faith that I’ll be able to find that writer’s discipline again.
