Despite 70 degree temperatures through much of our winter, the pool is bone chilling cold due to the 40 and 50 degree nights. Nothing makes me giggle like a fool more than playful torture. So much so I’m willing to pay for it.
Enjoyed a great dinner at Ink on Melrose. After winning Bravo’s Top Chef, Chef Voltaggio opened up this joint and was promptly named one of the top chefs in LA.

Technically I said “see someone wearing Basically Me on the streets”, so I suppose this doesn’t count. Nevertheless, we spotted this American Idol contestant wearing one of our dresses from last Spring.
The first day of the show went as expected. Lots of people, but relatively light on the sales. It’s an overwhelming venue. You could probably fit about ten football fields inside and every vendor is trying to out do the next. On a positive note, I put $40 on 10 on the Roulette wheel before heading off to the airport and actually hit it…
I left the confines of my office and walked a couple miles to the bike store and found this. We got to know each other on the ride home and have agreed to see each other regularly.

The next door hoarders have left the building. After 15 years of renting the place they have all moved out. Great timing by us I guess. The owner of the house, who turns out is a real estate agent, called to apologize for the condition of the house and promised to remodel. He even asked Sonia what color she would like the house painted.
