Vegas

Ominous

#90 Eat at Bestia. The hard to get reservation was worth the wait. If Vegas had odds on me being over or under 180lbs by Halloween, I’d bet the over.

Only two Illinois based Portillo’s hot dog joints are in California, but Riverside is home to one of them. Brit had an Italian Beef and a bowl of chili before returning to her second practice of the day in triple digit heat.

Back home dinner at Sunset Towers.

Two hours on the tarmac waiting for the storm to pass.

#14: Annual Fashion Show. We chose to have it at the Atlanta Apparel Show this year. We’ll try to be more creative next year. The elusive Sonia. I begged her to walk the runway so we could get some pictures for social media. This is all she gave me before disappearing into the back.

Southern fried chicken at JCT in Atlanta.

Bigger space, but not sure if it will be worth it. Market is a bit dead today.

Dinner at one of our favorite Atlanta restaurants.

It’s hot and humid and I think I may have caught Ebola.

#100 in Progress: Find a regular barber. Not sure if I’d go back. I just can’t find the experience I’m looking for. I’m starting to think there’s an opportunity to fill a niche.

At least we can choose the office when working on a Sunday.

#57 in Progress: See 10 Movies in the Theater. I don’t think it is the American classic it is being hailed as by most critics, but Boyhood was a good movie despite lacking a plot.

Sending Brittany off to her sophomore year of school with a proper steak dinner.

It’s 100 degrees and our warehouse doesn’t have air conditioning. We officially own a sweatshop.

Dinner and “Once” at the Pantages

Big fan of the movie. The play did not disappoint.

We had to up the ante on eating out, so we joined this secret dinner email list. Not bad.

Happy Birthday, Bro.

In case your children ever want a tongue ring I present exhibit A.

Enjoyed dinner at the new oyster bar that just opened in our old neighborhood. I miss Sherman Oaks.

Welcome to West England. 70,000 strong at the Rose Bowl to watch the LA Galaxy take on Manchester United. 80% of the crowd was cheering for the England club.

Happy Birthday, Ernest.

“When you stop doing things for fun you might as well be dead.” -Ernest Hemingway

You Too, Buddy.

Happy Birthday, Matt.

Aside from some horrible pictures, we had another great dinner with friends.

Sheffield Garden Walk

Perfect day for a street festival.

Lunch at Au Cheval.

Celebrating my friend Jeff’s birthday in the city.

Another regular stop for lunch.

Dinner at Publican.

Gene and Judes

Always the first stop. Time to abuse the body.

Chi-Town

Thanks to the polar vortex, the weather in Chicago is near perfect.

His fiction is much better.

Celebrating George and Brittany’s birthday on a leisurely Sunday.

Running the stopwatch with Brittany. This is as close as I have gotten to working out in weeks.
