Removed the grass and put in a concrete patio trimmed with artificial grass.
Behind the refrigerator. Five days and counting.
#53: Read 10 books. I’m 41 years late to the party, but an excellent book.
The trailer made me hold this movie to higher standards. The cast, the story, and I was thinking, Goodfellas, Casino, The Departed, etc. Unfortunately, Black Mass was pretty much meh.
#50: Go to a Giants Game When I was 9, I put “see a no hitter” on my life list. Tonight I came within four outs of watching Bumgarner throw a perfect game. Might be the closest I ever get.
A moment of silence on 9/11 Despite dominating the #17 Cal Berkeley Bears, Riverside lost 1-0. Brit orchestrated the three best scoring opportunities while playing 70 minutes, including the entire 2nd half. 6 games in, it looks like the coach is now leaning on Brittany as his most reliable playmaker.
#56: Eat at a top 100 restaurant in the world The 17 course meal with wine pairing at Saison was certainly the most expensive meal I have ever had, but it actually managed to rank in my top three dining experiences, number one in the US. Sonia told the waiter that the only thing she was unwilling to try was the Uni (pictured above),…
N.W.A. was my soundtrack on the way to high school for about a year, so I felt I owed it to myself to check it out. Pleasantly surprised.
Despite being 96 degrees and 110 on the rubber and turf field, the Highlanders did enough to beat Southern Utah University 4-2. Brittany started and managed to play 55 minutes without succumbing to sun stroke. Mom even scored an autograph after the game.
A record breaking crowd showed up to watch the Highlanders take on the #17 USC Trojans in their first home game of the season. Brittany started her third game and played a solid 70 minutes, putting her in the top five or six for minutes played. The Highlanders hung on to a 0-0 tie until USC finally scored in 75th minute. They…
The Highlanders bounced back and beat Liberty 3-1. Brittany scored a beautiful goal (the first) and played another excellent game. Borrowed Georgeanne’s hat. It was a lifesaver.
Despite controlling the game, the Highlanders lost 1-0 in overtime to George Washington. Brittany started and played an excellent 70 minutes.
Season starts on Friday. Despite finishing runner up Brittany’s freshman year, and fifth place last year, the Highlanders have once again been predicted to finish at the bottom in the league’s coach’s poll. Good to be the underdog.
#91: Visit an LA tourist attraction I’ve never been to. Took the in-laws to the Reagan Library and Air Force One.
New restaurant that cracked the the top ten in LA. We concur.
