#5: Read a top 100 novel. So good. “I believe that there is one story in the world, and only one. . . . Humans are caught—in their lives, in their thoughts, in their hungers and ambitions, in their avarice and cruelty, and in their kindness and generosity too—in a net of good and evil. . . . There is no other story. A…
If it weren’t for the dinners, I’d never go to a tradeshow again.
#8: Build & Launch One App. After learning how to code over the last two years, I finally soft-launched Lay Flatly over the weekend.
#31: Try 5 Hyped Sandwich Shops Butchers and Booze in Glendale. An excellent pastrami for me. A beef dip for the Chicago girl.
#51: Try 3 New to Us Restaurants Matu in Beverly Hills. Great.
#31: Try 5 Hyped Sandwich Shops A Japanese steakhouse in Beverly Hills would sell a Philly cheesesteak only on Sundays for two hours. They became so popular that they just opened two standalone waygu cheesesteak shops in Pasadena and Calabasas. We waited an hour to try one, but it was well worth it. 9/10.
#1 Read 25 Books. Enjoyed, but unlikeable main character.
There were two major reasons I didn’t want to continue this blog. One was the maintenance. The second was I didn’t want to write about loss. #45: 300 Sales on Etsy. While super ambitious in a crowded marketplace, this is a creative side hustle for both of us. Sonia makes, alters, paints, or adds to most of the jewelry, and I handle all of the copy, photography and digital marketing. https://www.etsy.com/shop/PellissierDesigns
#2: Ring in the New Year. A fun night at the Magic Castle. After 17 years, I actually intended this to be my last post, but then my Aunt Ona called me today and I realized I needed to give it another year. Now I need to work on the list.
#28: Build an iPhone app. I’ve built five now. Four of them are business apps for our use. But this one was the most fun. https://shopcaddypro.com
We started an ugly sweater gift exchange this year. Kennedy was probably the most horrified by having to wear her school’s rival sweatshirt. I drew Alex and he didn’t want to take his off.
#1: Read 25 Books. Ranked in order of my enjoyment.
#1: Read 25 Books. The man has become a master of writing unlikeable characters in boring and meaningless stories. He’s such a good writer that I always finish his books.

Bought 1500 pieces of candy and ran out at 7:45pm. Happy Anniversary to us.
