Another quality start, but the bullpen blew his win against the Astros excellent AA team. Fun watching Alex face World Series MVP George Springer.

Great to see my good friend Jeff and his son, Charlie from Chicago. Hemingway was particularly happy to see, Charlie.

Excellent read.

After a hellish trip to Midland, Texas, Alex finally made it to the team’s hotel around 3am. He made his Double AA debut later that day in what was arguabley his best minor league start to date.

Alex was introduced in his first professional all star game, but was told he wouldn’t be pitching because he was moving on up. He’ll pitch Monday for the double a Springfield Cards.

Kershaw v Lester should have been a pitcher’s duel but….
