#13: Try 10 of Gold’s 101 best LA restaurants.
Gold put this former taco truck , Guerrilla, on the map with his LA times review, so they reciprocated with a booth mural after his sudden passing. . He was the first food critic to win the Pulitzer and his 2018 best restaurants list will be the last. Although we tried another 10, we’ll keep it up until we try all 101.

Spago (Wolfgang’s original. Remodeled and as good as ever)
Lukshon (Culver City Asian Fusion)
Trois Mec (Tasting meal. Second time wasn’t as good as the first)
