Lots of characters, hence the title. Once I got to know everyone it was a good read.

Finally ate at Hemingway’s favorite LA restaurant, Musso & Frank. We added a visit to F. Scott Fitzgerald’s favorite watering hole, The Frolic Room.

#13: Try 10 of Gold’s top 101 LA Restaurants

A big French lunch at Petite Trois.

Stitches are out, but the news was not good. The surgeon was able to remove the tumor with large margins, but the final pathology report revealed that the mast cells had penetrated the deep margins into the muscle, so there is a flip of the coin chance that it will recur within a year.  And if doesn’t recur in the same spot, he’s likely to form another one somewhere else. Hemingway has made it clear that he would like to forgo any future surgeries and radiation treatments.  We’re going to focus on reciprocating the love and attention he gives to us.

Alimento in Silverlake. Norther Italian. Pretty good.

#20: read 4 non fiction books

Another good read from Lewis. A better inscription.

It took a bit of effort getting here, but it’s been well worth it.

Brit and I took in the latest Avengers movie to cross of this goal. We were entertained.
