#47: See 10 New Movies in the Theater

Expectations were high, but unfortunately they were not met. The visuals were great, but you could’ve turned off the sound and you wouldn’t have missed a thing.

Spent our last night back in London at the Icebar. Dad’s idea.

Stopped by the Kenwood House in Hampstead Heath and revisited the bench where I proposed to Sonia.

A great stay at the castle. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the connoisseur experience at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin where we learned to properly pour a pint in the private bar. Interesting fact, Edward Guinness, the man pictured above, donated Hampstead Heath and the Kenwood House to the city of London in 1929, the very spot Sonia and I were engaged.

Only after I posted my first pictures of Bath does my Mom inform me that my grandparents met here. The trip has become that much more sentimental.

Did as the Romans did. leprosy cured.

#54: See an out of state concert.

Way out of state. The Lumineers were awesome. Sonia and Georgeanne managed to get a pick with them.  Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty were legendary.

Established in the 1875, the barbers at G. F. Trumper have shaved everyone from George V to Winston Churchill to JFK.  Now they can add a couple of Kenwood to the list.

#58: Have a drink in a bar over 200 years old

The Grapes was established in 1583. Charles Dickens mentioned it in his book, “Our Mutual Friend.”

“A tavern of dropsical appearance… long settled down into a state of hale infirmity. It had outlasted many a sprucer public house, indeed the whole house impended over the water but seemed to have got into the condition of a faint-hearted diver, who has paused so long on the brink that he will never go in at all.”
