It could’ve been really cheesy, and maybe it still was, but James McCoy gave an incredible performance. I remember seeing him in The Last King of Scotland eleven years ago and thinking he’ll win an Oscar, but it’s been nothing but X-Men movies and a bunch of misses ever since.
