Our second trip to the North Shore in Hanalei Bay cemented our connection to the island. It’s the tropical version of Gustavus, Alaska for me and one that I want to revisit over and over again.

We took a helicopter tour of the island. These pictures and video couldn’t do it justice. I’ve never been so blown away by an area/location/territory.

It’s that time of year to start throwing in the towel on some goals. Let’s start with these five:

11. Take the top off of the Bronco. (Maybe next year)
25. Baseball game at a stadium I’ve never been to. (Why I didn’t spring for a game in Kansas City I’ll never know)
28. Reroof the garage. (There are much bigger fish to fry.)
29. New closet doors. (Same as above)
88. Certified wine professional. (The introductory class we took convinced me that this would take years)

Made it back to LA in time to have dinner and see Kinky Boots at the Pantages with my Dad and Georgeanne. I’m not afraid to say that Kinky Boots is the best transexual themed play I’ve ever seen.

This is why we need to get prechecked.

#54: Host a Party.

Record breaking attendance today for Brit’s last game of the season. All of the Aunt’s, Uncles, Grandparents and Cousins were there to cheer on her 1-0 win over Long Beach State.
