Set up a monthly donation to the World Wildlife Fund to help stop the Chinese from snorting rhino horns for their little wang syndrome. And another monthly donation to the Humane Society in my Aunt Ona’s name.
Despite 70 degree temperatures through much of our winter, the pool is bone chilling cold due to the 40 and 50 degree nights. Nothing makes me giggle like a fool more than playful torture. So much so I’m willing to pay for it.
Enjoyed a great dinner at Ink on Melrose. After winning Bravo’s Top Chef, Chef Voltaggio opened up this joint and was promptly named one of the top chefs in LA.
Technically I said “see someone wearing Basically Me on the streets”, so I suppose this doesn’t count. Nevertheless, we spotted this American Idol contestant wearing one of our dresses from last Spring.
The first day of the show went as expected. Lots of people, but relatively light on the sales. It’s an overwhelming venue. You could probably fit about ten football fields inside and every vendor is trying to out do the next. On a positive note, I put $40 on 10 on the Roulette wheel before heading off to the airport and actually hit it for a $1400 win.
Morning schedule: Bet with my heart and took Marquette giving 6 1/2 points against Cincy. My brain would never make that bet. Once I finish my Bloody Mary and Eggs Benedict, I’ll go try to watch the game without throwing up.
I left the confines of my office and walked a couple miles to the bike store and found this. We got to know each other on the ride home and have agreed to see each other regularly.
I made it nearly 39 years without having to go to a dance show, but all streaks must come to an end. That said, this was a happy ending as it involved my sister, Rosie. She was is a star.
After a lifetime avoiding doctors, I finally decided it was time to make a commitment. My new doc’s name is Gevorkian, not to be confused with the guy pictured.
