World Series Game 2

Sonia and I took a 7am flight to San Francisco despite the predictions of a rain out. Not only did it not rain, but it was one of the warmer Giants games I’ve been to.  Mom and Jim joined us to see the Giants roll the Rangers 9-0.  This may actually be the year.

We are here 6 hours before game time.

Tony inspired the Giants for the win. See you tomorrow San Fran.

Saw this in the theaters. Laughed quite a bit, but almost vomited three times which prevents me from recommending.

Brit’s team tied the first place team 2-2 in what was the most intense game of the season. Brit scored one and helped her team keep its hold on 2nd place.

A good day.

Only on Rodeo Drive would you see a two million dollar car parked curbside.

Scenes From The Ball Park

It couldn’t have been a better trip. Perfect San Fran weather, good food, and two huge wins by the Giants. I even got to see my favorite Giants of my youth throw out the first pitch.

Getting ready for game 2 in San Fran.

Lunch on Top of the Mark on Nob Hill.

Taking a ride on the country’s only operating National Monument.

A picture perfect day in San Fran with Dad to see the Giants win 3-0.

These are the only heels Brit’s allowed to wear.

From my brother, Sean.

Brit scored one and helped her team get a much needed win.  They play the first place team next Sunday.

We continue to discover new gems in downtown L.A. Today we checked out the Little Tokyo market which was anything but little. The seafood selection was insane.

Tried the downtown Pacific Dining Car for lunch. A good find.

Had to check on a dress at one of the factories.  I guess Saturday will be spent downtown until the Giants game starts.

Helping some friends celebrate their bar’s three year anniversary.

Netflixed A Single Man. Directed by fashion designer, Tom Ford. I think I’ve found a new way into the business.

Brit’s team tied the last place team 2-2 to all but assure a second place finish.

Found a man walking his iguana in Santa Monica today.

Went clothes shopping with money we made making clothes.

Had dinner with a client at Cafe Was in Hollywood. The mid meal burlesque show was top notch.

Saw The Social Network. It took the writer of A Few Good Men and the West Wing and the director of Fight Club and Se7en to make a movie like this happen. Although this was nothing more than a filmed stage play I actually enjoyed it.

September Recap

September was much like our reception area of our new office… A bit empty.  Sure we accomplished plenty in the work and eating life, but as far as making a dent in the list we scored a big fat goose egg.  Last September we were strolling the streets of Saint Germaine in Paris, so the Giants better win to make things a little more interesting.

Tried Coles, the originator of the french dip sandwich in downtown LA. Very good.

Netflixed this faux documentary. Kind of a waste of time.

Happy Birthday to my favorite red headed niece!

Finally.

The agony of defeat.  Brit’s team finally lost and lost the ability to control their own destiny.

Brit had a goal and an assist to lead her team to a 4-0 win.  They are now half way through the season and are clinging to first place by one point.

My new Apple TV was delivered and I’m already loving it. A steal at $99.
